  • Report to Regional Director of Finance and perform budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis for Asia business units

Requirements:

Supervisor, Fund Accounting & Valuation

  • Supervise the team members to ensure timely and accurate valuation of MPF/ORSO funds and retail unit trusts
  • Ensure timely and accurate completing of all fund operational tasks, including accounting reconciliation, regulatory compliance, etc
  • Participate in system enhancements and user acceptance tests of the fund operational system with an aim to improve efficiency and productivity
  • Prepare regular reporting to internal and external parties and ensure the timeliness and accuracy of the reports
Requirements:
  • University graduate in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in fund accounting and valuation with 1 to 2 years at supervisory level
  • Professional qualification such as HKICPA is preferred

  • Create investment content from client communication perspective including educational, promotion and any kind of communications, to meet sales & marketing objectives. Content will be in form of, for example, e-mail, newsletter, sales aids, presentations, thought leadership pieces, portfolio commentaries, regular market or economic outlook, advertising copy, press releases/bylined articles, newsflash, and online content
  • Work closely with internal and external investment management partners in translating/editing their English content into retail-friendly investment content in Chinese; also gather investment intelligence for composing investment theme or stories for business users, distributors and clients
  • Ensure all investment content is accurate and in compliance with regulatory requirements, and manage compliance sign-off process. Work with external vendors to ensure deliverables are professionally done
  • Arrange conference call, investment meetings, and presentations with internal and external investment management partners
Requirements:
  • University graduate in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Business Administration or Finance
  • 4-5 years of experience in investment writing/investment communications, preferably in the mutual fund industry
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese
  • High proficiency in PC knowledge including MS Office and internet applications
  • Experience in using investment research tools such as Bloomberg and Morningstar Direct
  • Strong marketing sensitivity and understanding of competitive landscape of the mutual fund industry
