  • Thorough knowledge of laws and regulations in the area of financial services in relevant Asian markets
  • Knowledge and experience of working with mutual fund, group and pension products, and other investment related products

Duties:
  • Assist the Regional Counsel in managing legal projects (M&A, joint ventures, strategic alliances, etc) through preparation of legal memoranda, agreements, correspondence, reports, forms, answering to requests for information, offering guidance and providing assistance in negotiations and presenting alternative solutions to the company and other member companies
  • Act as a liaison between the head office in the US and member companies in the Asia region, filtering corporate messages, policies and procedures, ensuring, wherever possible, consistency with corporate and standards and fostering a strong compliance culture around the Asia region
