Principal Hong Kong wins Lipper Fund Awards for Fourth Consecutive Year
Principal Hong Kong ("Principal") has won top industry honour by claiming the prestigious Lipper Fund Awards Hong Kong 2009 in its pension and mutual funds at the award presentation ceremony. This is the fourth consecutive year Principal has been awarded these prominent awards.
The Lipper Fund Awards are awarded to funds in 21 countries in Asia, Europe, MENA, and the Americas. Lipper designates award-winning funds in most individual classifications for the three-, five-, and ten-year periods that have excelled in delivering consistently strong risk-adjusted performance, relative to peers.
Principal Asian Equity Fund under MPF Scheme S800 was named the best Asia Pacific ex Japan equity fund over 3 years while Principal US Equity Fund under MPF Scheme S800 picked up the award for the best North America equity fund over 3 and 5 years. Also, Principal Global Investors Funds - Principal Japanese Equity Fund - A Class Acc Unit won the best Japan equity fund over 5 years.
